The "war on terror" and drone warfare has nothing to do with terrorism. It is all about money. Updated 04/24 with the Boston bombing

When are the people going to wake up and realise that the government no longer works for the people.
Both the Dems and the GOP work for their large Corporate sponsors in order to get re-elected.
One of the large sponsors/lobbyists are the arms companies.
The arms industry spends far more on lobbying than it does in taxes.
They want more wars so that the government buys more arms and their profits can go even higher.
Their primary aim is to make Americans feel less safe so that the public are willing for the government to spend more on arms.
The other large sponsors are the big banks. They want the government to spend and borrow more so there is more free money given to them.
The best way to get the government to borrow lots of money is to get them to spend lots of money fighting lots of pointless wars. It's been that way for centuries.
In the late 1990's the best recruitment tool for the Islamic Extremists was the US military bases in Saudi Arabia. (Apart from the Israel/Palestine conflict and America's unequivocal support for Israel.)
Then it became America's illegal (under international law) invasion of Iraq. Completely without justification.
Now the Islamic Extremists best recruitment tool is the drone warfare program and the high number of civilian casualties (about 98% of those killed).
The politicians have been bought by big business. They have FAR more money than ordinary people.
The drone strike program is specifically designed to recruit more Islamic Extremists and thereby create more conflicts and wars in the world.
It is the best mechanism for the arms companies and the banks to make more in profits.
The so called "war on terror" has nothing at all to do with terrorism or Islamic Fundamentalism or Islamic Extremism.
It is all about money.
And transferring wealth from the many to the few.
Update 04/24
The drone warfare program is very successful at what it sets out to do (see the Boston bombing).
Glenn Greenwald explains the terrorists motivations pretty well (re: the Boston bombing).
