My recent comments on Huffington post. I am getting some good ones published now. Anger levels are rising at the appalling things that have happened recently in Washington DC.

Posted on 06:29 by Unknown

There is a noticeable significant increase in anger on Huffington Post about events since the election.
Let's increase it still further.
Obama is making it easy for us.
What Obama is doing is making a lot of Dems very angry and making enemies out of them.

There are still a lot of sycophantic, blind and ignorant Dems (and GOP) of course.

But there are also lots more people posting comments that agree with our views and policies to a very large degree.

The standard of journalism is appalling on Huffy Po - so that makes it easy too.
It's easy to pick holes in their articles.

“99% of the GOP leadership are neocons.
All of the top Democrat leaders are neocons too.
Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden etc.
Did you know that Joe Biden wrote most of the Patriot Act? He drafted it in 1995 after the Oklahoma bombings. But it was put in the drawer because public opinion wouldn't of accepted it then.
It got wheeled out after 911.
The Patriot Act was 720 pages long. It was deliberately long so people and Congress wouldn't read it. It was put to a vote 6 weeks after 911. Nobody could draft a bill that long and put it through all the stages of reviews in just 6 weeks.
They didn't - over 90% of it was already written.”

“As a student, sir, I assure you that we..being my fellow students..have a good laugh at the term "neo-con" because it is slung around like the word "whatever". Just what is a neo-con? The real issue is that politicians, all of them, enter politics for reasons that don't even begin to touch the issue of patriotism and service to country and you know it. And I doubt I have to explain what it does touch. Yet, the voters sit on HP and complain, complain, complain when they could be making phonecalls, writing letters and emails everyday to these people you elected or didn't elect and telling them what they need to do or you will not send them back again. There are far too many people running your government who are nothing but hacks and who are solely securing their own futures or their own agendas. Yet, even when the obvious falls in front of you, you re-elect these same people over and over and over. My only conclusion for that event is that you and others enjoy complaining so much that you don't want to disrupt the process.”

“911 happened because of America's foreign policy.
The US military bases in Saudi Arabia are often quoted as a reason. It was certainly one of the main recruitment tools for Islamic Extremists in the late 1990's.
Lots of other reasons too. All due to America interfering in their back yard. How would you like it if China bought up a chunk of Texas and built a large military base there?
How would you like it if China starting flying drones out of their Texas military base and started firing missiles at the local schoolkids?     ”

“It is sickening what is happening in America today.
The Chinese communist leadership are laughing their heads off at us.

They are the only winners out of this.
Except for a few arms company board members, some rich banker elites, big oil, drugs and food companies.
The politicians do "special favors" in return for campaign contributions.

Why does America pay such a high price for drugs on Medicare/Medicaid?
Because the drugs companies donate to the politicians to keep it that way.

There are countless other examples.

It is VERY VERY easy to cut $1tn+ from the Federal budget, just by cutting Corporate Welfare.
Who wants to do that? Neither of the 2 extremist parties.
It would hurt the bottom line of their donors.

All that mortgage fraud, lies to Congress by Goldman, JP Morgan stealing $1.5tn from MF Global client accounts.
Who prosecutes that? No one. Who speaks out? No one.
The 2 leading members of the Senate Banking Commission were bribed $880,000 in campaign donations by JP Morgan for an easy ride. Peanuts to JPM.
Politicians come so cheap, because there are so many of them on the take.

Why do you not hear about this in any of the main TV channels or papers?
Because the media rely on advertising payments from the same large corporations that are bribing the politicians.

And the US government wants to spend double the highest amount it spent combatting the Russians when the enemy is a few thousand lunatics armed with IED's and boxcutters.
The Russians went bankrupt and their empire collapsed. A major part of the reason in the end was because they spent too much on the military and invaded Afghanistan.
The Russians also went bankrupt because they had an inferior economic model.
So does America. Crony capitalism in America is even worse than the crony capitalism and central planning in China.”

“Jack Lew blatantly outright LIED to Congress
Jack Lew must never be Secretary of Treasury.

His testimony before the Senate Budget Committee less than two years ago was so outrageous and false that it alone disqualifies him.

“Lew, as the President’s budget director, appeared before Congress and continued to insist that President Obama’s budget—which Lew had crafted—would not add to the debt of the United States. His original statement, to a national television audience, was as follows:

‘Our budget will get us, over the next several years, to the point where we can look the American people in the eye and say we’re not adding to the debt anymore; we’re spending money that we have each year, and then we can work on bringing down our national debt.’ …

This at a time when the spending plans were for a $1.7tn deficit.

Even now spending under current proposals will rise by 50% to over $5tn by 2020.

The National Debt is going to skyrocket.

This guy couldn't pass a 2nd grade arithmetic test.

His performance at Citi, managing other people's money proves it.
He lost Citi billions.”

“Is this some kind of sick joke?

Jack Lew was named chief operating officer of Citigroup's Alternative Investments unit, a proprietary trading group. The unit he oversaw invested in a hedge fund "that bet on the housing market to collapse." Source Wikipedia

He didn't do a very good job.
Citi paid Lew $1.1 million for his year at Alternative Investments, according to an ethics disclosure report filed in January 2009. He was also eligible for an undisclosed bonus. Lew did not immediately return a call for comment.
His unit, though, lost as much as billions of dollars in 2008 as its bets turned sour. In the first quarter of 2008 alone the unit lost $509 million; the company stopped publicly disclosing the unit's individual numbers soon thereafter, but the part of the company that absorbed Alternative Investments lost $20.1 billion in 2008, according to the bank's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Citigroup, the nation's third-largest bank, received $45 billion in TARP bailout funds that year.

Any company that has been convicted of defrauding the government or deliberately harming Americans should be disbarred from any future contracts (above trivial offenses).

The execs should be made to pay every dime of their salary and bonuses.

The shareholders of these companies should be forced to repay any dividends that they received and any profits that they made from owning and selling their shares.
Any large shareholders will have had to file the details on their tax returns - the information is all available in government records.

Hedge funds who invested in these companies should similarly suffer.

These are criminal enterprises.
Crime shouldn't pay.
Nor should it pay to invest in a criminal enterprise.

Then we might start seeing some responsible behavior from large Corporations.”

If a crime is committed like deliberately poisoning US troops through misrepresentation and lies about the facts, the people responsible should go to jail.

The execs of KBR should be facing hard jail time.
As should the execs of HSBC for their massive drug and terrorist money laundering.

If you don't jail the execs of these companies that break the law, they will keep doing it.

A large number of execs of other large Corporations should now be in jail.

If the government started jailing them, they would stop committing crimes against Americans and America. They would certainly think twice about it if they thought they might get a 20 year stretch and not a shareholder fine.”

You assume that I agree with your first sentence.  I don't.

I believe that the present mainstream interpretation of the

the main recruiting tool of our Islamist enemies.

We can choose to fight back or not--that does not change the
Islamist agenda which Mohammed demonstrated starting with the hijra in 622

The strategy of using of jihad to produce political
supremacy over the unbeliever has been mainstream Islamic doctrine since
then--whenever enough Muslims think they have the required resources to wage
jihad.

However, not all Muslims are on board with Islamism.  It is not yet clear if the present jihad will

“When are the people going to wake up and realise that the government no longer works for the people.

Both the Dems and GOP work for their large Corporate sponsors to get re-elected.

One of the large sponsors are the arms companies.
They want more wars so that the government buys more arms and their profits can go even higher.

The other large sponsors are the big banks. They want the government to spend and borrow more so there is more free money given to them.
The best way for the government to borrow money is to spend lots of money fighting lots of pointless wars. It's been that way for centuries.

The politicians have been bought by big business. They have far more money than ordinary people.

The drone strike program is specifically designed to recruit more Islamic Extremists and thereby create more conflicts and wars in the world.

The so called "war on terror" has nothing at all to do with terrorism or Islamic Fundamentalism or Islamic Extremism.

It has EVERYTHING to do with money.

It is the best mechanism for the arms companies and the banks to make more in profits.
It is the best mechanism to transfer the wealth of the many to the few.”

“It seems you have very little knowledge of history.
Japan was already negotiating it's surrender before it was nuked. The main sticking point was keeping the Emperor which America later conceded.
Nuking Japan had far more to do with sending a message to Russia than it had to do with ending the war with Japan. ”

“Get the hell out of the middle East. and leave them to fight amongst themselves.
Iran and Saudi Arabia are already fighting a war by proxy in Syria.
Let them direct their anger at each other and not at America. Let the Sunnis fight the Shias.
Apart from Israel/Palestine, Al-Qaeda's main recruiting tool in the late 1990's was the US military bases in Saudi Arabia.
It is now drone strikes.
The best way of subverting the enemy is to let them kill each other and not focus their anger on America.”

“When are you volunteering for the Darwin awards?

The drone warfare program recruits far more terrorists than it kills.

It's people like you that are the reason that America is in the mess that it's in.

Do us all a favor. Put yourself up for the Darwin award.”

“The drone warfare program recruits far more terrorists than it kills.
============

We won't know if that is true until we withdraw from Afghanistan.

If we don't have any more Islamist attacking America, then we can assume the drone warfare was effective in explaining to Islamists in Afghanistan and Pakistan that attacks on America are not a good idea.

If there are more attacks, we can explain some more--without the nation building component.”

“America is now spending 74% more a year than it ever did against the USSR (inflation adjusted).

Military spending is planned to continue to rise to be double peak cold war spending in just a few years.

The arms companies are LOVING it.

And all the while the government pours money down the pit in unwinnable wars, the population of America grows poorer.

The standard of living for Americans has gone down ever since these wars started.”
