What do we know about 9/11?

1) Multiple prior warnings and intelligence

On August 6th 2001, GW Bush received an intelligence briefing in the Oval Office warning of an imminent major terrorist attack on American soil involving hijacking commercial airliners and using them as "flying bombs". See 1.

They tried to warn us.

On July 1, the brief stated that the operation had been delayed, but “will occur soon.” Some of the briefs again reminded Mr. Bush that the attack timing was flexible, and that, despite any perceived delay, the planned assault was on track. 

Yet, the White House failed to take significant action. Officials at the Counterterrorism Center of the C.I.A. grew apoplectic. On July 9, at a meeting of the counterterrorism group, one official suggested that the staff put in for a transfer so that somebody else would be responsible when the attack took place, two people who were there told me in interviews. The suggestion was batted down, they said, because there would be no time to train anyone else. 

2. Buildings do not collapse at free fall speed of their own accord 

The twin towers collapsed at free fall speed (as near as makes no difference).
This is evidenced by detailed video footage and seismic data.
Buildings cannot collapse at free fall speed without some kind of controlled demolition.

Why was the fact that the buildings collapsed at free fall speed excluded from the contents of the 9/11 commission report?

How were the controlled demolition charges placed on the steel beams in the twin towers?
We know there was "maintenance" work in the weeks prior to 9/11 which allowed access to the steel beams.

Who set off the charges for the controlled demolition?

Building 7 was ordered to be pulled down by Rudy Giuliani.
This building also fell at free fall speed from a controlled demolition.
The controlled demolition charges were in place before 9/11 (there was not enough time to place them in the building on 9/11 itself).

We know that there were explosions immediately prior to the buildings collapse; and several injuries from those explosions; in the basements of the twin towers.

3. Why were the steel beams from the twin towers smuggled out of the country within 2 weeks of 911? 

Never before in history has a skyscraper collapsed just from fire.
The buildings were designed to withstand the impact from up to 6 aircraft simultaneously, only 1 aircraft hit each tower.
Jet fuel only burns at about 700 degrees C.
Temperatures of 1200 degrees C are required to weaken steel.

You would of thought that the American government would be anxious to know why the buildings collapsed when they had been designed to withstand the impact from multiple aircraft.
Why were samples of the steel beams not sent to every major research facility, of major universities, in the US to understand what had gone wrong and to prevent such a disaster from ever happening again?

Why were the steel beams smuggled out of the country very quickly to prevent this from being done?

4. 7 out of 10 of the 9/11 commissioners now disagree with the contents of the official 9/11 report. 

The report's author is particularly scathing

The Attorney General (John Farmer) who drafted the 9/11 report for the 9/11 commission now says that the report is based on government lies and is almost entirely untrue.

The 9/11 Commission now tells us that the official version of 9/11 was based on false testimony and documents and is almost entirely untrue. The details of this massive cover-up are carefully outlined in a book by John Farmer, who was the Senior Counsel for the 9/11 Commission.

Farmer, Dean of Rutger Universities' School of Law and former Attorney General of New Jersey, was responsible for drafting the original flawed 9/11 report.

Does Farmer have cooperation and agreement from other members of the Commission? Yes. Did they say Bush ordered 9/11? No. Do they say that the 9/11 Commission was lied to by the FBI, CIA, Whitehouse and NORAD? Yes. Is there full documentary proof of this? Yes.

Farmer states...“at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened... I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. 5. The 270 degree turn and rapid descent of the aircraft that hit the Pentagon. 

Experienced pilots have testified that they could not of made such a manoevre.
How could a very inexperienced pilot with only very limited flight training have accomplished it?

6. Condoleezza Rice's statement that no one could of expected terrorists to hijack aircraft and use them as weapons is an obvious and blatant lie

So they’ve proposed Congress pass a resolution asking President Obama to declassify the entire 2002 report, “Joint Inquiry Into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001.”

Saudi-Sized Cracks in the 9/11 Wall of Silence

Two Congressmen, a Democrat and a Republican, are asking Obama to declassify the congressional report on 9/11, which the Bush administration heavily redacted.

The two members of the House of Representatives have read the blacked-out portions, including 28 totally blank pages that deal largely with Saudi government ties to the alleged 9/11 hijackers.

This is apparently major connect-the-dots stuff—much more significant than what one may remember from Michael Moore’s film Fahrenheit 911, about Saudi royals and other Saudis studying and living in the US, who were allowed to go home without being interviewed in the aftermath of the attacks. This is about actual financial and logistical support of terrorism against the United States—by its ally, the Saudi government.

As a Hoover Institution media scholar wrote in the New York Post (normally no bastion of deep investigative inquiry):

The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.

Congressmen “absolutely shocked”

The two outspoken Representatives, Walter Jones (R-NC) and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass) would be violating federal law if they offered any specifics about what they know, or even named any countries mentioned—but did say they were  “absolutely shocked” by revelations of foreign state involvement in the attacks. Now, they want a resolution requesting Obama declassify the entire document.

If the media were to do its job and create the kind of wall-to-wall coverage it bestows upon, say, inter-spousal murder trials, Obama might feel he had to release the full 9/11 report. He’d have to concede there is a public right to know, or at least explain in detail why he doesn’t think so. Either way, there would be major fireworks. But we’re not betting on either the president or the media doing the right thing.

Conclusions 

The events leading up to and the events on the actual day of 9/11 need to be properly investigated.
The official account is a complete cover up and a pack of lies.

Charges need to be brought against those responsible for the murder of 3,000 people on 9/11.

The easiest way of moving this forward is to bring civil charges against members of the Bush/Cheney regime for Gross Negligence on behalf of one or more of the foreign families that were a victim of 9/11.
There are plenty of countries to choose from, e.g. Brazil

Sue for gross negligence by members of the Bush regime for doing nothing to stop the attacks succeeding, in the face of overwhelming diplomatic and intelligence warnings of an impending terrorist attack using aircraft/airliners.
The burden of proof is lower in a civil court.
If members of the Bush regime chose not to appear and defend themselves the jury is entitled to draw their own conclusions from that in a civil court (in most countries).

There are plenty of countries to choose from to launch an initial case on behalf of the family of at least one of the foreign nationals killed on 9/11.
More countries could then follow suit.

Young people will now have far less incentives to buy Healthcare insurance.

Young people will now not have to pay the fines for not having insurance (the above policy change just exempted them).

This will jack up the price of Healthcare insurance for everyone else, even more.
If there are fewer young people subsidizing the rest, the price for everyone else will go up.

They do not know how much they should now be charging for Healthcare coverage in 2014.

Senator Patty Murray and Rep. Paul Ryan cut a deal on behalf of government cronies in the top 0.1%. If the government takes more from people who are already on the breadline or who are struggling to cope, they won't have that money to spend on other things and the overall economy will suffer as a result.

Senator Patty Murray and Rep. Paul Ryan cut a deal on behalf of government cronies in the top 0.1%.
The only people that will benefit from this deal are crony Corporations, financial speculators and
banksters.
A few thousand people will benefit from the budget deal.
Over 300 million Americans will be worse off.


The House has approved a budget that :-

Increases spending by $60bn a year, keeping all of the over $1.3tn of annual crony Corporate welfare.
Keeps the massive $200bn a year tax hike on the poor and middle class from the disastrous fiscal cliff deal.

Raises taxes via fees.
Fees actually increase the proportion and burden of taxation that fall on the poor and middle class, they hardly affect the rich at all.
Increasing taxes on the middle class and the poor will lower future GDP growth and increase future unemployment.
If the government takes more from people who are already on the breadline or who are struggling to cope, they won't have that money to spend on other things and the overall economy will suffer as a result.

Cuts Veteran's pensions.

Does nothing to improve future economic growth.

Does nothing to resolve the looming fiscal deficit - by 2023:-
Spending will be around $6tn
The deficit will be well over $3tn
The National Debt will be over $40tn

The budget that SHOULD be on the table

Immediate cuts of $1.3tn to annual crony Corporate Welfare

Lower taxes on middle earners and below -
an immediate increase in the income tax thresh hold to $45,000 a year (from $8,500)
Reverse the $108bn payroll tax hike

Help for small and medium sized businesses which are the true job and wealth creators in America.
Remove all the tax loopholes and subsidies to the crony Corporations and use that money to cut Corporation Tax to 25% for EVERYONE.

Make the first $100,000 of profits tax free, like Singapore does.

People are wondering : What will China do in the future?

When this latest massive financial bubble bursts, what will China do in the future as economic tensions between the US and China build up?

The passing of Citizens United makes it possible for almost unlimited Corporate campaign donations (bribes).
US politicians are easily bribed, e.g. the 2 leading members of the Senate Banking Committee were bought by JP Morgan for 6 years for just $880,000.

Why wouldn't China just buy/set up US front companies in order to buy US politicians?

Why wouldn't China test out this potential strategy at the State level first?
Why wouldn't they say, buy land to set up a 50 sq mile "economic development zone" in Idaho.
Why wouldn't they buy 3 relatively small retail banks in the US?
Why wouldn't they buy farmland?

The number of laws being passed that undermine a free society is increasing

Some examples :-

In the US
You are no longer able to protest near where a Secret Service agent is expected to operate.
So the authorities merely need to create an excuse for a Secret  Service agent to operate in the vicinity of a planned demonstration in order to be able to cancel it.

In the UK
Laws have been passed that make it easier for the authorities to ban any demonstrations they wish to. They merely have to state that such demonstration might cause some inconvenience or disturbance to the local neighborhood.
It is very unlikely that a reasonably well attended protest would not cause any inconvenience to local residents.
Protesters tend to chant slogans and have speeches with public address systems.

In Canada
You are no longer allowed to wear a mask at a demonstration.
The purpose of this law is so that the authorities can identify you, in order to carry out possible later harassment and intimidation.

In Japan
Secrecy laws have now been forced through which allows the government to make any topic, e.g. Fukushima, a State Secret with heavy penalties for divulging information.
You are not allowed to know what the government considers a State Secret until the government accuses someone of breaking it.

In the Ukraine
The government passed anti-demonstration measures and then cancelled the proposed EU trade negotiation.
The Ukranians response was to hold mass demonstrations with thousands of protestors against the measures.
But I guess the Ukranians value the rights of the individual and individual freedom far more highly than do the citizens of the U.S., the UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
Ukranians well remember what the lack of individual rights is like.

In the US Laws and measures have recently been passed to :-
Remove the right to a speedy and fair trial if accused of a crime
Completely remove the right to privacy (from government surveillance)
Remove the right of public protest without fear of harassment or intimidation or physical violence by the authorities
Remove the rights of a journalist to write a highly critical piece on the government, without fear of arrest or other intimidation by the government (the UK has already used this)
Allow the Federal government to unilaterally declare Martial Law even if the local Governor or the Mayor disagrees.
Militarize the Police and DHS with ex-army equipment, including armored heavy trucks and armored cars.
Soften up the public to expect abuses by the authorities via the TSA, more frequent police abuses, dry runs of Martial Law, arming of IRS agents etc.
Develop facial recognition software to automatically link a face in a crowd to an id and the surveillance dossier held on every citizen. To be used on surveillance drones and "security" cameras.
Allow surveillance drones to fly in every inch of American airspace via over 50 authorized American military airbases.

November jobs report without the hype - only 41,500 new jobs, REAL unemployment has gone UP

Taking the government shutdown and furloughed government workers out of the equation and taking the total numbers for October and November gives the following numbers :

83,000 jobs were created in total in October and November.
An average of 41,500 per month.

This is far lower the number of jobs that are required to be created just to keep up with population growth, which is 150,000 to 180,000 a month.

664,000 people dropped out of the civilian labor force (they either retired or gave up looking for work, because no decent jobs are out there).

The number of people over 16 years of age grew by 399,000.

The labor participation rate (those in work or looking for work) further declined from 63.2% to 63.0%.

It got even harder to find a job in America in the last 2 months.

The headline "unemployment"  number declined from 7.2% to 7.0%. But this merely records the number of people that are currently claiming unemployment benefits or have actively looked for a job in the last 4 weeks, NOT the number of people that are unemployed.

All of the following numbers are taken from the Household survey - not the numbers used in the headlines which come from the Establishment survey.
The Establishment survey disagrees with all the other data available and consistently overstates job creation by between 80,000 and 100,000 per month.

The Data for the Last Year

Taking the period for December 2012 to November 2013 :-

1.1 million more people have a job.
This is a monthly job creation rate of 92,400.
The media are erroneously reporting that average monthly job creation is 195,000 for the past year, or more than double the actual rate.

The number of new jobs required to keep pace with population growth is between 150,000 and 180,000 per month.
The number of people over 16 has increased by 2.4 million in the last year (or an average of 200,000 per month).

While the number of people that are claiming unemployment benefits has declined from 7.8% to 7.0%,
the labor participation rate has seen a significant decline from 63.6% to 63.0%.

America's unemployment rate using the criteria used in other Western countries is actually around 11.5%.
U6 unemployment which includes people forced to work part time is 13%.

The unemployment overhang is actually over 23% - this includes people who would go back into the labor force if there were well paying jobs available (which there aren't - most of the jobs being created are in low wage sectors such as retail, almost no well paying jobs are being created).

No nation is going to prosper when the percentage of it's people that have jobs continues to show a relentless decline.

The number of additional working age people aged 16 to 64 with jobs is only 727,000 or 60,000 per month.

Over statements in the BLS Birth/Death model are responsible for some of the over statement for job creation in the Establishment survey (it does not affect the Household survey).

Why aren't the 99% of companies that are getting screwed by the government, complaining?

Corporate profits are already showing signs of reversing (except for the financial sector - the financial sector is still getting $1tn a year of government subsidies).

When the middle class is wiped out, how will the large Corporations make any money? 

Why aren't the over 99% of American companies that are not crony Corporations protesting about current government policy which discriminates against them in favor of the government cronies? 

It is not just 99% of people that are getting screwed in the current deal. 
It's 99% of companies as well.

We need to change the language of the political debate and call out the Extremists.
We need a budget deal that benefits 99% of Americans and American companies, not a budget deal for a few crony Corporations and a few thousand crony Corporate elites.

Just how badly the country is currently being run, can be seen from the sheer number of easy improvements that could be done

The following is just a start, there are many more things that could easily be done.

Cut $1.3tn of annual Corporate Welfare 
Cut $700bn of annual military spending (from the current $1.2tn) 
Stop subsidizing the big banks to the tune of $1tn a year 

Stop the Federal Reserve from printing $1tn a year which just helps the rich and the speculators. 
It is actually making the real economy worse and increasing unemployment, income inequality and poverty. 

Stop taxing the poor. 
Raise the income tax thresh hold to $45,000. 
Reverse the payroll tax hike. 

Help small and medium sized businesses instead of hindering them to the benefit of the large Corporations.
Start cutting the number of government regulations instead of adding to them at the rate of 40,000 a year.
Cut Corporation Tax to 25% and close all the loopholes and tax breaks given to the large crony Corporations.
Make the first $100,000 of profits tax free.

The above two measures will get bottom up spending and recruitment going again.
Small and medium sized business are the true job and wealth creators in America.
Not large Corporations.

Clean up Wall Street.
Jail Lloyd Blankfein and Jamie Dimon for 30 years for fraud. 
Jail Tim Geithner and Hank Paulson too. 
Threaten the rest with the same.

Jail James Clapper and Keith Alexander for perjury. 

Stop the NSA Mass Surveillance which has foiled zero terr or plots in 12 years. 

Break up the Corporate cartels that now operate in each major industry. 
Start with the banks. 
Give the big banks 6 months notice and then take their banking licenses away. 
They are criminal enterprises and therefore unfit institutions to hold a banking license. 

Then move onto other crony Corporate cartels - big oil, big pharma, big food, Monsanto, arms companies etc.

Kick the cronies out of the government. 
Ex-staffers of the big banks, big oil, Monsanto, drugs companies, arms companies etc. 

Stop TPP & Tafta which are Corporatist deals, subjugating National Sovereignty and the people.

Complete reform college education. 
About 3 times as many people now enter college as get a college degree paying job. 
It loads young people down with $10,000's of debt.
It also increases the price of a college education for those that do benefit. 

Completely reform the education system, which is a disaster.
Lots more money have been pumped into it, but standards have actually gone down. 
The style of teaching needs to be changed. 

America now ranks in the bottom 3 for social mobility for developed countries. 

End the Federal Reserve system. 
The Federal Reserve is a private company mostly owned by the Rothschild family and the big banks. 
As with any private company it's activities are designed to help it's major shareholders not Americans in general. 

Stop Janet Yellen's appointment and appoint someone who intends to wind up the Federal Reserve. 
Yellen is just going to continue Bernanke's policy of massive printing which is going to cause a financial disaster 20 times bigger than the one in 2008. 

Halve the costs of Healthcare so it is more in line with the costs in other countries. 
A lot of the extra costs are due to protectionist policies by the government on behalf of the large drugs companies. 

Stop the militarization of the Police. 
160 18-tonne armored (ex-army) trucks have now been given to civilian police forces. 
Another 750 have been requested. 
This is on top of a large range of other military equipment which have been give to civilian authorities.
The DHS now has 3,000 armored vehicles. 

Stop the ever increasing abuses and harassment of the public by the Police and the TSA. 

Repeal :- 
The Patriot Act - which is a domestic control measure not counter terror 
Scrap indefinite detention without trial 
Reinstate Posse Comitatus 

Repeal the regulation that now allows the President to unilaterally declare Martial Law (even if the civil authorities object - the Mayor or the Governor). 

Scrap the law which prevents a protest near a Secret Service agent . 
This is designed to suppress legitimate and democratic anti government protests, not protect people.
