In 2009 Obama stressed the importance of allowing FOIA requests (in the above video).

EVERY SINGLE FOIA request for the NSA to disclose what information it holds on an individual has been REJECTED.

Obama has persecuted whistle blowers to a far greater degree than any other President.

He runs the LEAST transparent regime in history.

The purpose of the NSA Mass Surveillance programs are to crush domestic dissent and to control people the government wants to control.
They have absolutely nothing to do with counter terrorism or making people "safer".
They are to protect the GOVERNMENT against the interests of the people.
