America's strategic decline accelerates with the Corporatist neocon agenda (of both parties) America now ranks only 16th for the best country to be born in, from 1st in 1988 Updated 10/22

After 24 years of misrule - these are the results

The Economist Intelligence Unit recently published its "Where To Be Born in 2013" list, a measure of which countries provide the best opportunities for a healthy, safe and prosperous life in the years ahead.
WOND, an infographics and data visualization outfit based outside London, has put together a great repackaging of the data, which also included the list from 1988.
Needless to say, things have changed over the past 25 years.

Economic charts to back up this assessment

It includes my solutions to getting America out of the hole it is now in (at the bottom).
The politicians of both parties continue to dig the hole ever deeper.

Share of world GDP 1969 to 2009

America's relative decline is accelerating under Barack Obama.
America's share of global GDP is down to 21.5% at the end of 2011 from 26.7% in 2009.
A HUGE reduction.
Asia/Oceania has already overtaken North America as the largest economic area.
China centered, South East Asia, is set to get ever stronger, while America is set to grow ever weaker.

The loss of American hegemony comes ever closer under the government's Corporatist neocon agenda (of BOTH parties).

Global Growth Projections
The above chart is an understatement of America's future decline.
The US has declined to 21.5% in 2011.
It will be far less than 23% by 2030.
